About The Position

Corporate Immigration Law Firm (CILF) is seeking an Immigration Case Analyst for its TORONTO office. Our firm is a leading corporate immigration law firm dedicated to providing comprehensive immigration services to multinational companies, executives, and their employees. We are seeking for an experienced, highly motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Case Analyst to assist our team of immigration professionals (lawyers and consultant) in managing corporate immigration cases. The role requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of legal procedures. The list of duties and responsibilities provided is not all-inclusive and additional duties may be assigned as need. This is an in-person position with potential for hybrid work two days a week in the future.

Requirements

  • Relevant Post Secondary education required
  • 1+ years of Canadian immigration experience
  • Hands on experience with immigration forms and case management systems
  • Excellent writing skills required and strong document review skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience in government portals required
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing demands and meet deadliness

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of immigration legislation, policies, and procedures a strong asset
  • Familiarity with Citrix Environment and Officio an asset

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal and procedural research on immigration laws, policies, and program requirements
  • Assist with applications involving visas, work permits, study permits, permanent residency, and citizenship
  • Prepare and draft immigration applications, forms, and supporting documents for temporary and permanent residence, citizenship, and work/study permits
  • Communicate with clients to collect information, explain documentation requirements, and provide status updates
  • Maintain and organize client files in compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards
  • Management of multiple files from beginning to end while making provision of communicating regular updates to the client
  • Assist immigration professionals with responses to refusals, appeals, and reconsideration requests
  • Perform electronic filing and case management using immigration software and government portals
  • Track important deadlines related to filings, renewals, and compliance issues
  • Assist immigrational professionals in managing case load, drafting client communications, and preparing legal documents
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills including MS Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
