About The Position

The Immigration Assembler Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of the Immigration Assembly team, with responsibility for tracking team performance, monitoring daily metrics, and ensuring timely movement of cases through key assembly stages, including wet signature processing and final submissions. This role works closely with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and team members to ensure required forms, supporting documents, and evidence are properly organized, compiled, reviewed, and prepared for submission to immigration authorities.

Requirements

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the Immigration Assembly team to ensure immigration packets move efficiently through assembly, review, wet signature processing, and final submission stages.
  • Track and monitor day-to-day team performance metrics, including pending wet signatures, packets ready for assembly, assembly completion, final submissions, backlog movement, and aging cases.
  • Assign, prioritize, and redistribute work among team members based on deadlines, case urgency, team capacity, and operational priorities.
  • Monitor pending wet signature cases to ensure documents are sent, received, uploaded, and moved forward timely for final packet completion.
  • Track final submission readiness and coordinate with the appropriate teams to ensure completed packets are prepared and submitted within expected timelines.
  • Conduct regular quality checks of assembled packets to ensure forms, supporting documents, signatures, and evidence are complete, accurate, organized, and aligned with firm procedures.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks, delays, or recurring errors in the assembly process and escalate concerns to management with recommended solutions.
  • Provide daily guidance and support to Immigration Assemblers to ensure work is completed accurately, consistently, and according to established priorities.
  • Train new and existing team members on assembly procedures, quality standards, document organization, wet signature workflows, and final submission expectations.
  • Maintain clear communication with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, mailing staff, and other internal teams to resolve missing items, corrections, or submission blockers.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by documenting recurring issues, recommending workflow changes, and helping implement updated procedures.
  • Review team productivity and quality trends and provide feedback to team members to support accountability, performance improvement, and operational consistency.
  • Ensure team members properly update case management systems, trackers, and internal tools so case status, pending items, and submission progress remain accurate.
