JFCS Pittsburgh has been a leader in human services since 1937, combining compassion, innovation, and a commitment to dignity and justice. We partner with people across the region to navigate life’s changes and challenges, designing bold, responsive programs that meet real needs. This role coordinates youth programming for refugee and immigrant youth (K-12), developing, managing, and evaluating programs focused on welcoming, orienting, mentoring, and inspiring youth success. The position involves working within a cross-disciplinary team to provide cultural orientation, English language development, school integration, career and post-secondary educational options, and cross-cultural curiosity with a trauma-informed lens. The coordinator will explore, implement, and advocate for innovative methods to address youth's evolving needs, both internally and externally with schools and other youth-serving bodies. Collaboration with parents and families is key to coordinating activities, understanding priorities, and supporting family harmony.
