About The Position

This role is for an IML & Setup Technician to join the Jokey North America team, with standard office hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm EST.

Requirements

Experience with automation programs
Experience with robotics
Strong organization and time management skills
Proven communication skills (both verbal and written)
Team player
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Self-starter
Good computer skills including MS Office

Responsibilities

Control machine and robot parameters based on manufacturing master data sheets and target specifications (e.g., cycle time, shot weight).
Perform robot set changes, equipment repairs, and machine and robot maintenance in a timely manner.
Implement improvements to robots to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and pneumatics.
Maintain a preventive maintenance program and associated records for injection machines and robots.
Communicate with the IML and Set-Up Coordinator/Shift Supervisor/Production Manager regarding necessary machine repairs.
Lead and oversee work, ensuring safe work practices at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
