About The Position

The UW Medical Center – Northwest - Radiology Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Radiology Technologist. This role involves preparing patients and independently performing radiologic exams & procedures, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment, documentation, coordinating and optimizing customer service and workflow, maintaining the environment, and training and collaboration. Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school and eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry completed before completion of probationary period.
  • Registered as an X-Ray Technician by the State of Washington.
  • Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist, before completion of probationary period.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
