The Imaging Technologist II performs all standard diagnostic x-ray procedures on pre-mature neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This includes fluoroscopy, portable, surgical, and routine exams. The position requires the technologist to be licensed as a California Radiologic Technologist and comply with OSHA standards and regulations regarding blood-borne pathogens and ionizing radiation. Additionally, this role requires cross-training in one of the following modalities: CT Scan, MRI, or Mammography. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the physiological, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients across all age groups served, possess the ability to assess patient status, interpret data, and provide appropriate care according to ECRMC’s policies and procedures.
