The Imaging Technologist II performs all standard diagnostic x-ray procedures on pre-mature neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including fluoroscopy, portable, surgical, and routine exams. Must be licensed as a California Radiologic Technologist. Must comply with OSHA standards and regulations involving potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and ionizing radiation. This position requires cross-training in one of the following modalities: CT Scan, MRI, or Mammography. Demonstrated knowledge and skills are necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served in the assigned department/unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the physiological, psychosocial, and emotional needs of the patient as related to age, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements, and provide the care needed as described in ECRMC’s policies and procedures.
