About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Imaging Technician to join our Media & Archive Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for image asset migration (digitization), restoration, remediation, and reformatting of historic visual media within a digital studio environment.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience handling historic analog/digital visual formats (e.g., negatives, glass plates, slides, posters) and executing digital restoration/scanning.
  • Strong knowledge of media archiving, metadata identification, hardware/overhead scanners, and software tools including Photoshop, Photo-Mechanic, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker, and Lightroom.
  • Proven ability in technical troubleshooting, quality control monitoring, and effective time management for high-volume project completion.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Digitize, restore, remediate, and reformat historic analog and digital 2D visual media while maintaining detailed project logs, asset tracking, and archival reports.
  • Collaborate with Client Services, Studio Managers, and clients to manage technical information exchange, equipment calibration, and final service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with secure physical and electronic file delivery standards, chain-of-custody protocols, and proper digital archiving procedures.
