CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Imaging Technician. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic familiarity with computer use required
- Intermediate English abilities required
- Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
- Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
- Excellent time-management skills
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with Laptop, computer and/or technology component repair, preferred
- Experience using hand power tools
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
Responsibilities
- Installs and configures new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment
- Reinstalls software programs or adjust settings on existing software to fix machine malfunctions
- Analyzes equipment performance and assess equipment functionality
- Performs repairs on machines by debug troubleshooting, software testing, and conducting diagnostics
- Repairs laptop or desktop units according to requirements, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
- Supports and conducts Functional Testing on computers and or components
- Evaluates and reports repeat returns to engineers and or management
- Assists engineers with performing new product introduction test validation and process walkthrough
- Learns and uses new processes and procedures
- Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
- May perform other duties as assigned
