About The Position

Functions within Radiology Records department. Has the ability to understand and work with Image archiving, troubleshooting Imaging System (PACS) and training of staff and physician. Has working knowledge of Radiology Records for imaging and reports for all Modalities within Radiology for all sites. Other duties would include ability to use Electronic Transfer of images to other sites and doctor’s offices. Responsible for system implementation, documentation, policies and training of new hires.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of healthcare or other relevant industry experience.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to communicate with public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS), as well as, commonly used computer applications in Radiology and other hospital based systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
