About The Position

The Imaging Specialist is responsible for receiving and reviewing loan documentation for borrowers, guarantors, and related parties, ensuring completeness. This role involves adding exceptions and ticklers, monitoring and resolving outstanding documentation issues, and accurately scanning, indexing, and imaging loan, credit, and report-related documents into the imaging system. The specialist will verify the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of digital documentation, update the Enterprise Loan Servicing Log, and organize and archive digitized physical files for future retrieval, including for legal proceedings. Additionally, the role requires tracking and resolving documentation exceptions, providing feedback on deficiencies, and assisting team members and auditors by researching and supplying required documentation.

Requirements

  • Proficiency using electronic imaging technology and related storage requirements, image and document formats.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to identify loan documents so they are imaged and indexed correctly.
  • Knowledge of bank regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize daily work assignments while working in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines defined by Bank and regulators.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of document imaging and record management experience of commercial documentation in commercial banking.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with loan documents.
  • Prior experience in a scanning department, loan operations or FCM/ImageCentre.

Responsibilities

  • Assist team members and auditors by researching and supplying required documentation.
