The Imaging Support Specialist will serve as a single point of contact for radiologists, providing concierge-level technical support for imaging systems. This includes rounding onsite at imaging departments, triaging technical issues, managing ticket resolution, and supporting workflow optimization. The role is not engineering-focused but requires strong familiarity with radiology technology and excellent communication skills. On-call support is required after hours, and candidates must be located near the Macon, GA region. Serve as Tier 1 support for radiologists, triaging technical issues and ensuring resolution through proper ticket routing and follow-up. Round onsite in imaging departments to proactively identify and address workflow or system concerns. Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis (built into salary, not overtime). Monitor and troubleshoot PACS and related imaging systems; escalate issues as needed. Collaborate with radiology, IS, and biomedical teams to optimize imaging workflows and downtime protocols. Maintain and manage ticket documentation, ensuring timely resolution and communication with providers. Assist with workflow optimization projects such as hanging protocol clean-up and downtime planning. Support remote-reading physicians by being physically present to resolve onsite issues when needed.
