About The Position

ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time CT Supervisor to work at our Newark Campus. This role is responsible for the direct supervision and oversight of CT technical and technical assistant staff, performing HR activities, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and working with radiologists to create and maintain CT protocols. The supervisor will also maintain the quality of clinical images, manage imaging equipment maintenance, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in ACR Accreditation of all CT units. Additionally, the role involves coordinating student clinical rotations, participating in Performance Improvement initiatives, and preparing for JCAHO, CMS, and DE Radiation Control standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years CT imaging experience required
  • ARRT (R) required, (CT) required
  • Excellent customer service/telephone skills required
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Ability to function independently
  • Problem solving and complaint resolution
  • Interacting with physicians, patients, and families
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Associates degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision and oversight of CT technical and technical assistant staff
  • Performs HR activities, evaluations, interview process, and disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels at the Middletown Emergency Department, Christiana and Wilmington Hospitals (including call)
  • Work with radiologists to create and maintain CT protocols
  • Maintain quality of clinical images to maintain technical standards
  • Maintain and schedule the maintenance of imaging and patient care equipment including regulatory compliance, safety, and specifications of equipment
  • ACR Accreditation of all CT units
  • Participate in maintaining and updating all CT policies and procedures
  • Prepare and ensure compliance with JCAHO, CMS, and DE Radiation Control standards
  • Coordination of student clinical rotation with Allied Health Program and Imaging Education Associates
  • Participation and reporting in Performance Improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as required
