About The Position

Supervises the daily activities of assigned Imaging staff. Reviews and approves payroll for direct reports. Develops and implements action plans to meet and exceed performance improvement and safety initiatives. Leads service recovery efforts regarding complex patient issues and complaints to facilitate resolution. Performs staff responsibilities, as needed, to fulfill required service levels. Coordinates patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Trains, coaches, and evaluates staff performance and sets expectations. Assists with the preparation of the operational capital budget under the guidance of Imaging leadership. Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and requirements. Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Orders supplies and maintains appropriate inventory level in accordance with established budget.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of technologist experience in modality of supervision
  • Accredited Program (Required)
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
  • BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
  • Accredited program in imaging, radiology, or diagnostic medical sonography
  • One of the following is required: ARRT, ARDMS or RDCS or RVT or RVS or NMTCB or ARMRIT.
  • Only ARRT and NMTCB require a CRT license (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
  • Can be certified as: Radiology- Certified as American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT)
  • MRI- Advance Certified from American Registry of Radiology Tech (AART) or (ARMRIT)
  • CT- Advance Certified from American Registry of Radiology Tech (AART)
  • Nuclear Medicine- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or (ARRT)
  • Ultrasound- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or (ARRT), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RSCS by ARDMS), or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT by ARDMS)
  • Mammography- Advance Certified from American Registry of Radiology Tech (AART)
  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
