About The Position
This role involves supporting technologists in an imaging services department, specifically Computerized Tomography (CT), by preparing and positioning patients for radiological examinations. The assistant will also be responsible for explaining procedures to patients, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining the readiness of clinical areas. The position is full-time with an evening shift, requiring the ability to work from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend and holiday duties.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Preferred.

Responsibilities
- Support technologists by preparing and positioning patients for radiological examinations.
- Facilitate patient understanding by explaining procedures and providing relevant educational materials.
- Transport patients safely while adhering to strict identification and radiation safety protocols.
- Manage administrative workflows, including filing, record retrieval, and document delivery.
- Maintain clinical readiness by cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory control.
