About The Position

This position is PRN rotating in the radiology department at Frankfort Hospital. Works under the supervision of a radiologist, technologist, or radiology nurse. Performs clerical and/or patient care duties necessary to assist in performing imaging exams. Clerical duties may include, but are not limited to patient scheduling & registration, patient screening, reception, release of information, and maintaining inventory. Patient care duties may include, but are not limited to transporting and transferring patients, preparing patients for procedures, discussing exams and preps with patients, starting IV access lines, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as approved by regional leadership and with documentation of training and competency. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 0-3 years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Medical Terminology
• Experience in a hospital or medical environment
• Customer service experience
• May require Basic Life Support certification
