About The Position

This position is full time, days. The shift is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7am - 5:30pm, at Bloomington Hospital. Works under the supervision of a radiologist, technologist, or radiology nurse. Performs clerical and/or patient care duties necessary to assist in performing imaging exams. Clerical duties may include, but are not limited to patient scheduling & registration, patient screening, reception, release of information, and maintaining inventory. Patient care duties may include, but are not limited to transporting and transferring patients, preparing patients for procedures, discussing exams and preps with patients, starting IV access lines, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as approved by regional leadership and with documentation of training and competency. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
0-3 years of experience
May require Basic Life Support certification

Nice To Haves

Medical Terminology, preferred
Experience in a hospital or medical environment, preferred
Customer service experience, preferred
