About The Position

Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is looking for a highly skilled and confident individual to fulfill an Imaging Service Engineer III role with Nebraska Medicine located in Omaha, NE. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required. The successful candidate will test electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance inspections, repair or replace defective parts, and maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check.
• At least 7+ years' experience in an imaging role.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices.
• Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.
• 7 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training.
• Significant factory-level training of imaging equipment contributing to the effectiveness of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical imaging devices including CT and Nuclear Medicine.
• Prior knowledge of renowned medical equipment, preferably GE, Philips, Siemens, Carestream, etc.
• CRES nationally

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead Jr. Imaging Engineers.
