About The Position

Their responsibilities are to work with Scheduling to schedule specific invasive and non-invasive procedures, review preps with patients, ordering providers and nursing units, support within their scope of practice the patients, providers, nursing units, bed board and the technologists as well as work through Financials coding and preauthorization’s with the Imaging Information Analyst for accurate billing and payments. This position is continuing to evolve with increased responsibilities required by the ordering providers as well as the interventionists.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Two (2) years' experience working in healthcare OR one (1) year of experience working in imaging/radiology.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • CPR Certification within 3 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Radiology/ Imaging experience
  • Associate Degree or Certificate in related field
  • Certification in Medical Reception
