About The Position

Logan Health is looking for an Imaging Scheduler to join their Radiology team in Kalispell. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and wants a meaningful role in healthcare without working nights or weekends. As an Imaging Scheduler, you will be one of the first points of contact for patients, coordinating imaging appointments, answering questions, providing preparation information, and ensuring patients are scheduled for the necessary services. This position combines organization with patient care, requiring friendliness, dependability, and attention to detail. You will gain valuable experience within Radiology and contribute to a team that plays a vital role in diagnosing and caring for patients in the community.

Previous experience in healthcare, medical scheduling, a medical office, patient access, customer service, or another fast-paced service environment may be a great foundation for this position.
Knowledge of medical terminology and strong computer skills are also helpful.
Typing competency is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate imaging appointments and procedures.
Help patients understand what to expect and how to prepare for their upcoming appointments.
Communicate with patients, providers, clinics, and members of the Radiology team.
Coordinate schedules and resources to help patients receive timely care.
Maintain accurate patient and scheduling information.
Manage multiple requests and priorities while providing excellent customer service.
Help problem-solve scheduling needs and keep the day running smoothly.
Work closely with your teammates to create a positive experience for every patient.
