Requirements

Part-Time, 20 hours at least per week.
Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm
20+ hours/week

Responsibilities

Schedules patient appointments collecting demographic and insurance information as outlined by Dent procedures.
Make outbound calls to schedule internal referrals for diagnostic testing within a timely manner, meeting specifications set forth by the clinical providers.
Works with diagnostic testing department to manage, maintain and update the schedule to promote optimal time management for the patient and/or technologist
Reviews testing department’s schedule daily for availabilities and completes schedule with patient’s awaiting cancellations
Updates schedules with cancellations or reschedules and notifies appropriate Dent staff as set forth by policy. Notifies patients via telephone with changes made to their appointment time, place or date
Reviews appointment list daily for errors, working as a team to resolve scheduling conflicts associated with department coverage changes, including conducting bump lists and rescheduling patients
