About The Position

The Imaging Manager manages clinical operations of specific areas of the Imaging Department including, but not limited to, equipment, personnel, scheduling, financial and customer service functions.

Requirements

Registered in Radiography (R) or
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine or
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography
Associate's Degree: Related Field or
Certificate of Completion: Related Field
Related field - 2 years

Responsibilities

Manage and direct the daily operation of assigned areas and staff.
Develop and foster collaboration among clinical departments and affiliated services
Ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to providing Imaging services
Provides resolution of customer complaints or problems.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve problems
Provides advice concerning technical procedures, techniques, and equipment.
Assumes responsibility for personnel related duties that include interviewing, disciplinary actions, payroll reporting, scheduling paid leave, and enforcing required rules and regulations.
Monitors employee performance
Ensures timely communications for goal setting, performance evaluations, wages increases and continued personnel actions.
Ensure all employees are properly oriented, trained, and that annual competencies, certifications, and licensure and education requirements are current.
Ensure that all personnel are properly trained on equipment and competent in its use.
Develops budget recommendations and monitors budget activities
Manages Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
Oversees operational budget for: Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
Oversees capital equipment purchases for: Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professional
Develops best practices with radiologists and interdisciplinary assistance for: Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
Monitors quality for Nursing, Scheduling, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging Professionals
