This position requires a CT Tech with a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer. The candidate must also hold a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of two years of work experience in an acute hospital setting is required. The technologist must be able to scan according to radiologist protocols, perform routine CT scans independently, and function without supervision. Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred. Additional experience with venipuncture, performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, procedures like biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus.
