Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Departmental Support Specialist, you will help our department staff and patients manage daily operations and communications so they can receive effective departmental operations and quality patient care. Every day you will perform a variety of clerical, reception, and support functions. You will be expected to greet and assist patients, answer telephones, manage records, scan/file charts, monitor patient flow, enter billing info, and direct/transport patients. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional customer service, attention to detail, knowledge of HIPAA rules and medical terminology, and adherence to departmental policies and protocols.
