About The Position

The Imaging Attendant supports patient care and the operation of the imaging-related units at Sovah Health - Danville. Under the delegation and supervision of an RN, the attendant performs basic patient care activities, which may include monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output. The role also maintains legible and accurate patient records and documentation, performs stocking, unit-environment and clerical support tasks, evaluates and restocks inventory for the cath lab and Prep unit, and processes and submits product orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• One year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records, charts, and other documentation in a legible, accurate, and appropriate format.
• Perform support tasks such as stocking supplies, maintaining the unit environment, and completing clerical tasks.
• Evaluate and restock inventory for the cath lab and Prep unit.
• Process and submit product orders.
