Imaging Assistant
About The Position
Imaging Assistants are an integral part of the Radiology Team providing a high standard of patient centered care to deliver and maintain a good patient experience. You will become part of a professional and caring workforce delivering high standards of care to our patients, which is both challenging and rewarding. The post will be a support role to patients undergoing tests and procedures, assisting consultants and radiographers performing radiology examinations. There is a brand new community diagnostic centre (CDC) with Radiology facilities at Cannock Chase Hospital. This post will require rotation across both sites as required by service needs.
Requirements
- GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, including English Language and Mathematics
- Previous experience in a caring role/profession
- Committed to providing quality care
- Highly motivated and want to be a part of a dedicated team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus
