About The Position

This job provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department. It involves transporting patients, assisting technologists with patient preparation and post-procedural duties, managing supplies, and handling data entry and report delivery. The role also includes providing non-clinical support as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR – American Heart Association
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience in medical office or imaging office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures.
  • Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures.
  • Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies.
  • Assists with inventory control.
  • Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods.
  • Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
