About The Position

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital is seeking a non-licensed Imaging Aide to join its Imaging team. The aide completes on-the-job training and works under the direction of registered technologists to assist with patient care. The role supports technologists by preparing procedure rooms, transporting and supporting patients, assisting with procedures, and maintaining supply inventory.

This position is 0.7 FTE, or 56 hours every two weeks, working seven shifts on and seven shifts off. Shifts are eight hours and are scheduled during the day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; not applicable to participants in the Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program.
• Previous work experience in an acute-care setting is beneficial but not required.
• Current BLS certification or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrate site-specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems, and applications.
