About The Position
The Imaging Aide supports the efficient provision of diagnostic services by maintaining supplies, coordinating work, transporting patients to and from the MRI Department, and assisting technologists with patient care and safety screening. The role helps protect patient and family privacy while keeping patient safety in mind, and assists with patient assessment before, during, and after exams.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior patient care experience or CNA experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining supplies needed for efficient and effective diagnostic services.
- Coordinate work to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Transport patients to and from the MRI Department using correct procedures.
- Protect the privacy of patients and families within the limitations of Imaging Services while keeping patient safety in mind.
- Assist technologists with general patient care and assessment before, during, and after exams.
- Assist technologists with safety screening of patients and staff.
