Involves the design and management of software, hardware, and databases for clinical imaging system(s) used in clinical practice and/or research. Supports a secured network for the transmission of patient information, workstations for interpreting and reviewing images, and archives for the storage and retrieval of images and reports. Provides technical training and assistance to users. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the processes by which to attain them. Provides direction, sets priorities, and analyzes workflow for clinical applications subordinate staff, according to established policies and management guidance. Provides senior management with input on personnel matters and recommendations for changes to department policies and practices. Provides advanced technical expertise in 3D post-processing while supporting the evaluation, validation, and clinical integration of emerging AI technologies. This role bridges clinical operations, imaging science, and translational research to enhance workflow efficiency, imaging quality, and innovation within the department. The position requires regular communication and collaboration with clinicians to clarify imaging needs, discuss case requirements, gather feedback on AI-enabled tools, and ensure that 3D outputs and new technologies align with clinical expectations and patient-care priorities.
