About The Position

At 95West, a Widseth company, we're looking for an Imagery Technician to join our growing geospatial team. In this role, you'll help transform aerial imagery and data into mapping products that support infrastructure, land development, transportation, and community projects across the United States. You'll collaborate with talented professionals in geospatial services, land surveying, and engineering while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge photogrammetry and LiDAR technologies. Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in Geography, Cartography, GIS, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, Mathematics, Statistics, CADD, Surveying, or a related geospatial field.
  • Professional experience in imagery or photogrammetric technician role.
  • Technology-focused background and/or aerial sensor operation experience.
  • Experience with MicroStation, Civil 3D, or other computer-aided drafting platforms.
  • Knowledge of photogrammetric processes such as Aero-Triangulation, Stereo Compilation, and Digital Orthophoto production.
  • Experience with Trimble Inpho Suite
  • Experience with ImageStation
  • Experience with ArcGIS
  • Experience with Pix4D
  • Experience with Global Mapper
  • Experience with Agisoft Metashape
  • Experience with Summit Evolution
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with other photogrammetry or geospatial software platforms
  • ASPRS certification (American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing)
  • Relevant state licensure or professional certifications

Responsibilities

  • Processing aerial imagery and performing quality control reviews.
  • Creating and refining orthophotography and supporting photogrammetric workflows.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks to ensure imagery accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support project delivery and client needs.
  • Following established workflows while contributing to continuous process improvements.
  • Managing project tasks efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Communicating effectively with team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
