About The Position

Castalia Systems is seeking an Imagery Analyst, Mid to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in St. Louis, MO. The mission of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is to provide Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) for our nation's security, enabling customer success through assured access to and confidence in GEOINT data, capabilities, and insights. The mission of the Analysis Directorate is to develop exceptional analytical expertise to deliver integrated GEOINT that informs and enables the national security mission.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years' Intelligence analysis experience in the Intelligence or military commands at the national and tactical levels.
  • Completed an Imagery Analysis Course through the Military or Intelligence Community.
  • Basic knowledge of Intelligence Community and DOD reporting, and demonstrated ability tocollaborate effectively with the Intelligence and Defense Communities.
  • Working knowledge of systems and software programs such as: RemoteView, Socet GXP,ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS.
  • Demonstrated ability with spatial and temporal analysis of OSINT, HUMINT and SIGINT reporting for characterization of GEOINT analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of NTM, air breather, and civil/commercial sensors providing hardcopy and softcopy imagery and associated digital data for imagery, spectral, and SAR data.
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills with an ability to present and discuss technical and procedural aspects of imagery software.
  • Knowledge in the tasking of overhead intelligence collection systems.
  • Experience collaborating with national and service intelligence agencies/centers.
  • TS/SCI and the ability to obtain/maintain a CI Poly as required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Perform GEOINT analysis of economic security in support of AOREN.
  • Provide advanced analytical support, support systems analysis of specialized imagery, and apply specialized imagery theory and applications to meet operational needs.
  • Perform imagery research and analysis by researching current and historical softcopy imagery.
  • Produce structured observation datasets as well as standard NGA imagery analysis products.
  • Collaborate with NGA imagery and geospatial analysts and other intelligence officers and engineers.
  • Produce standard NGA imagery analysis products, supporting crisis operations as necessary.
  • This effort will require regular collaboration with NGA imagery and geospatial analysts and other intelligence officers and engineers, and DIA analysts.
  • Provide expertise in the analysis of underground targets.
  • Work effectively with NGA and other analysts and engineers to identify specialized sensor applications and collections that provide additional details about the configuration or character of target HDBTs that cannot be obtained via other sources and produce specialized NTM-derived analysis and products for incorporation into intelligence products.
  • Provide expertise in the analysis of C4I networks supporting crisis operations as necessary.
  • Engage current Analytic Workflow Modernization (AWM) Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (ITPs) as developed and implemented.
  • Provide imagery analyst expertise to produce, collect, and perform data integrity quality checks on various product outlines as assigned by customer.
