About The Position

Join GM Canada's Dealer Organization and Network Planning Team in a high-impact role that combines dealer image leadership with network planning strategy. In this position, you will help shape GM’s dealer footprint, facility image execution, and market coverage across Canada by taking on a key role in leading initiatives, analysis and performance reporting. This role is ideal for a strong communicator and strategic thinker who enjoys turning data into action, partnering across teams, and influencing decisions that strengthen the dealer network and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a University degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of automotive, network planning, retail operations, field, or related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop clear recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ownership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an OEM, field, sales, or dealer-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of dealer networks, dealership facilities, and market analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors or suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead GM Canada’s dealer facility image program for Chevrolet, Buick and GMC, working with suppliers and field teams to support implementation and ongoing alignment to facility standards.
  • Support Cadillac Image Program execution and dealer network development initiatives.
  • Own dealer network planning activities, including network studies, market analysis, relocation and market area recommendations, and dealer performance insights.
  • Develop reporting, analysis, and presentations that help leadership evaluate network effectiveness and make informed business decisions.
  • Support dealer agreement and performance improvement processes through analysis, issue identification, and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with regional teams, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to solve problems, track progress, and advance key initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, functional leadership, and program oversight within the team.
  • Manage related budgets and program tracking.
  • Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate Coordinator Network Planning.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to stay aligned on upcoming initiatives.
