Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Strong interest in patient care and respiratory health
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Assist the Respiratory Therapy team in daily patient care under supervision
- Observe and participate in the administration of respiratory treatments and therapies
- Learn to operate and maintain respiratory equipment
- Monitor patients’ respiratory status and report changes to supervising staff
- Follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
