About The Position

Under general supervision, technicians maintain, clean and deliver equipment as necessary for patient care. Technician will perform other related duties to support patient care activities within the limits of established policies and procedures. Maintains, services, and repairs medical equipment. This could take the form of preventative measures, cleaning or adjusting pieces of equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Must be enrolled in a Respiratory Program approved by CoArc (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care).
  • Ability to work with others, follow instructions, and prioritize work needs.

  • Ability to work in a latex safe environment. (C)
  • Ability to be qualified physically (by medical personnel) for respirator use, initially and as required.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Nice To Haves

  • Six months training or experience in a hospital setting preferred.
