About The Position

You will be the IIoT Controls Connection Reliability Engineer - Level 3 for the Industrial Connectivity team which is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure data flow from production equipment to enterprise systems. As the IIoT Controls Connection Reliability Engineer - Level 3 you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining industrial communication solutions that enable real‑time reliability monitoring and predictive maintenance.

Requirements

Experience connecting machine platforms and capturing real-time data
Experience with standard IT hardware, software, Networking
Programming & Scripting knowledge
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

Data analytics aspects of machine reliability.
Proven experience with machine probability and statistical tools to analyze machine health.
OPC UA, MTConnect, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, MQTT, FOCAS (FANUC) knowledge.
Network segmentation and firewalls
Experience Programming & Scripting Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs, OPC UA SDKs, MQTT clients, XML/JSON, scripting for automation

Responsibilities

Configure and program industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus TCP, Profinet, MQTT) to deliver machine data to the data lake.
Install, commission, and support networking hardware, gateways, and edge devices from an OT perspective.
Troubleshoot PLC, network, and communication issues while documenting configurations and architecture.
Validate data quality and integrity and support commissioning activities.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering, and IT teams to implement scalable, secure connectivity solutions.
