About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking Clinicians to join our growing team in Massachusetts! We are looking for talented and enthusiastic therapists interested in working to enhance the mental wellness of people within our community. NFS values your experience delivering competent mental health services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. This is a great opportunity for a newly licensed Master's level clinician as we provide supervision for Independent Licensure. Independent licensed clinicians also have opportunities to expand their skillsets. The In Home Behavioral Therapist (IHBS) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBS Therapists support caregivers to better understand their children's needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication. We also offer a summer schedule with Summer Fun Fridays, where the office closes at 12:30pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
  • Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
  • Access to secured high speed internet required
