About The Position

The IFS Technical Analyst will be part of the Global Technology Organization which is responsible to maintain all ADM systems in operation with highest availability. The IFS Technical Analyst will be part of an IFS support team, consisting of internal and managed support team members, that analyze tickets raised by users and provide response/resolution or work with the concerned teams/ 3rd party providers to resolve the issues as the per the Operational/Service Level Agreement with the business. The individual will also be responsible to work with the user community, architects, developers and testers to build and deliver small enhancements and deliver projects in line with the global template design after alignment with the Solution Delivery organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IFS Technical Analyst or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of IFS Applications architecture and modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL, database management, and data manipulation.
  • Ability to create/interpret and update: Complex Oracle SQL statements
  • IFS Custom Events (Oracle Database Triggers) and the CRIM functionality
  • PL/SQL packages created by ADM outside of the main ERP solution
  • Experience with software development and integration techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • IFS certification or relevant technical certifications.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with programming languages (such as Java, .NET, or similar).
  • Knowledge of additional ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of: Novacura Flow Connect

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of IFS Applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Configure IFS modules according to business requirements and best practices, ensuring change documentation and user guides are maintained.
  • Customize IFS Applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to end-users for IFS Applications, resolving issues and answering queries.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot errors, providing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to implement changes or system integrations with other business applications.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and reports for data extraction and analysis and create and maintain technical documentation, change logs and deployment procedures.
  • Assist in the development of custom reports and dashboards within IFS.
  • Ensure system integrity, security, and data accuracy through regular audits and updates.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to prepare and execute validation documentation including ensure we comply Good Manufacturing Guidelines (EudraLex – Vol 4). This will involve helping with the creation and running of Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) scripts.
  • Assist with ERP-related projects including upgrades, new module implementations and data migrations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing system documentation, validation records and demonstrating data integrity controls
  • Assist in revalidation efforts following major upgrades, migrations or patches to the IFS system
  • Actively contribute in efforts related to future state definition, roadmap and technical architecture design
  • Mentor junior analysts and developers, promoting knowledge-sharing and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IFS features and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose enhancements to system functionalities.
