About The Position

The IFC Summer Student Fellow - Grant Support position is a 12-week student employee role at St. Olaf College. The purpose of this position is to support grant-sponsored workshops and activities. Additionally, the fellow will conduct literature reviews and research into pedagogy and best practices related to challenging classroom discussions. Transferable skills developed in this role include research, event planning and support, and skills in dialogue across difference.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to take responsibility for projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to take and organize detailed notes.
  • Ability to conduct literature reviews and independent research.
  • 40-hour weekly commitment for 12 weeks.
