Location: This position is based in Honolulu, Hawaii, with travel required as needed to support project and customer requirements throughout the Pacific region. Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be against a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, to include U.S. Citizenship; Applicant selected must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance License Requirement: Current State of Hawaii Journeyman Electrician License required.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent trade training required.
  • Current State of Hawaii Journeyman Electrician License required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in electrical maintenance, facilities operations, construction, or related technical fields.
  • Experience leading maintenance, repair, and construction activities involving electrical and facility systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required site access credentials, badges, and security clearances.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee corrective maintenance, service orders, IDIQ task orders, and small facility projects from planning through closeout.
  • Lead and Supervise electricians, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and support personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project execution.
  • Manage daily field operations, workforce assignments, resource allocation, and work prioritization.
  • Troubleshoot, install, repair, test, commission, and maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems.
  • Plan and coordinate outages, switching operations, system restoration efforts, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities.
  • Serve as the primary field point of contact for customers, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and applicable codes.
  • Interpret and apply drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, technical manuals, and contract documents.
  • Manage work orders, maintenance activities, CMMS records, labor reporting, cost coding, and project documentation.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, quality control reviews, and system turnover activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractor performance, vendor activities, procurement efforts, material management, and supply chain operations.
  • Administer vendor submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, badges, security requirements, and site access requests.
  • Perform material takeoffs and support procurement of materials, equipment, tools, and long-lead items.
  • Prepare and maintain field reports, project status reports, as-built drawings, technical records, and closeout documentation.
  • Support project estimating, scheduling, proposal development, mobilization planning, and project startup activities.
  • Train, mentor, and develop technicians and electricians while promoting a strong culture of safety and accountability.
  • Maintain organized project records, technical documentation, and project libraries.
  • Support multiple facilities and customers while ensuring successful execution of maintenance programs and service contracts.
  • Participate in customer meetings, Key Project Reviews (KPRs), safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of facility operations, maintenance programs, and construction activities aligned with the regional IDIQ manager.
