A Identity Management Specialist I is responsible for onboarding and offboarding of network accounts, Office 365 administration, and active directory administration.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • One (1) year of help desk technician or other related customer support role.
  • Experience with Office 365 and Active Directory administration.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or customers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Create network accounts, email accounts, and configure access for new employees.
  • Disable network and email accounts and disabling access for separating employees.
  • Order IT equipment for new and existing employees.
  • Complete active directory (AD) account modifications.
  • Responsible for Office 365 administration.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and going through pertinent questions.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving processes.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
  • Maintain, update, resolve requests in ticket tracking system.
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.
