About The Position

Leidos is seeking an experienced Identity Intelligence Instructor for our client’s operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the McLean, Virginia area. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and working with trainees of varying experience levels and learning styles. The Instructor will provide constructive, timely feedback to trainees, recognizing both successes and areas requiring improvements. The Instructor must be confident delivering performance feedback in a professional and objective manner, regardless of trainee proficiency. A successful candidate will have experience as an instructor, with the ability to effectively deliver training.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 6 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2 – 4 years of relevant experience. Experience may be exchanged for degree requirements.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Identity Intelligence.
  • Baseline knowledge of all-source intelligence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex concepts, expectations, and guidance.
  • Proven ability to apply established policies accurately and consistently, with strong attention to detail reflected in audit and spot review outcomes.
  • Experience working in dynamic environments, and the ability to work within a team construct.
  • Ability to work core training hours (0800-1500).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using classified and open-source databases, performing searches, and gathering pertinent information.
  • Experience formatting and editing Microsoft tools (e.g., PowerPoint and Word) and PDFs

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led, in-person training courses lasting up to one month in duration on established schedules.
  • Prepare and present training briefings, course materials, and instructional content.
  • Facilitate classroom discussions and instructor-led practical exercises to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Administer, review and evaluate worksheets, exercises, and trainee performance assessments.
  • Provide ad-hoc one-on-one training and external training.
  • Assist with development and editing of course materials to account for changes in priorities and/or policies.
  • Identifying performance gaps or learning needs
  • Foster a professional learning environment that promotes engagement, participation, and successful completion of course objectives.
