About The Position

This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe. HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Identity Intelligence Analyst to assist in The Office of National Security (ONS), within the Immediate Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which manages Department-wide programs and provides oversight, policy direction, standards, and performance assessments in the areas of counterintelligence, counterterrorism, insider threat, cyber threat intelligence, information security, national personnel security, homeland security, and the safeguarding of classified information. ONS provides support of Counterintelligence, Counterterrorism, Strategic Intelligence, and Administrative Support to customers within the HHS organization. The ONS support includes proactively identification and assessment of potential threat information, recommend mitigation efforts, and incorporate findings into formal reports in support of the ONS customers. This includes participation in briefs to HHS leadership on recommendations and providing direct support to Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) requests for assistance for ONS contract equities. Intelligence analysts will identify and prioritize research and analysis topics within the Department and oversee the production of Research and Analysis plans in support of ONS customers. Ensure appropriate expertise is included in highly tailored written reports, oral briefings, and other intelligence products for a diverse range of global customers. This includes assessing the threat posture of the key players and coordinating with cyber elements within the intelligence community. In addition, work with other ONS customer teams to ensure cybersecurity of the IT systems, especially on distribution & administration.

Requirements

  • 9 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 7 years of relevant experience with master's in related field; 4 years of relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent technical writing skills to include spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work with others
  • Familiarity with Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and Classification Management Tool (CMT)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • TS /SCI security clearance
  • 1-3 years’ experience in technical writing or editing with at least one year working in the Intelligence Community

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential threat information, recommend mitigation efforts, and incorporate findings into formal reports
  • Research and analyze intelligence from diverse sources to create Threat Development Packages and link analysis, identifying threats and patterns
  • Conduct analysis in support of operational activities to assemble, correlate, evaluate and assess information concerning counterintelligence and intelligence threats against personnel, programs, information systems and/or facilities
  • Analyze information received to identify intelligence gaps and specify collection requirements to answer these gaps via appropriate collection means
  • Support counterintelligence and intelligence inquiries under the direction of the Director of Identity Intelligence
  • When appropriate, prepare serialized intelligence reports
  • Evaluate threats to emerging technology under development within an enterprise, experience with Research, Development and Acquisitions (RDA) counterintelligence analysis preferred
  • Conduct counterintelligence briefings to personnel as required
  • Screen and vet individuals, process requests for information, and review grant applications against intelligence databases
  • Link digital aliases, screen names, and biometric data (fingerprints, facial recognition) to real-world identities
  • Coordinate with local, state, federal, or private sector partners to facilitate information sharing in compliance with privacy regulations
