About The Position

CACI is seeking a ICAM Systems/Software Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. Our program delivers and supports enterprise-wide and stand‑alone Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities across the Intelligence Community. As part of this mission, you will contribute to a wide range of impactful work including program management, mission support, software integration and development, system engineering, testing, documentation, configuration control, release management, and network/system monitoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, collaborating with diverse teams, and helping customers succeed with critical ICAM services.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • 7+ years of Systems Engineering (SE) experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level I (or higher) if determined applicable by COR for CWIP activities
  • A total of 12 years SE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or knowledge of: Online and telephone customer support
  • LDAP directories
  • SQL and basic database queries
  • RESTful services
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Ticketing systems such as JIRA or Redmine
  • Ability to: Analyze system applications and troubleshoot effectively
  • Understand and clearly communicate complex software systems
  • Update Confluence pages and write technical documentation
  • Assist with customer training on software capabilities
  • Work with customers to understand and define requirements
  • Work independently and proactively

Responsibilities

  • Guide development teams as they integrate and troubleshoot REST services
  • Assist end users in resolving authorization issues, ensuring access is properly granted or denied
  • Manage and track support tickets using JIRA
  • Provide customer support through email, chat, and phone
  • Approach challenges with an analytical and curious mindset—ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical puzzles
