ICU Technician - Critical Care FT Nights 7pm-7:30am
About The Position
The Critical Care Technician, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, participates in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. This position includes, but is not limited to, following essential functions. Essential functions include functioning within the established policies and procedures of the Nursing Department of Garfield Medical Center, collaborating with the RN for efficient, cost-effective use of time and equipment, providing care to designated patients, and prioritizing based on the patient's care requirements as delegated by the RN. The role also involves interacting with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- EKG Certificate upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in ED or Critical Care preferred.
