About The Position

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected, accredited acute care hospital in Russellville, AL to recruit an experienced and compassionate ICU Charge Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while making a meaningful impact on the community. As the ICU Charge Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership during assigned shifts by coordinating patient care, delegating duties, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality, age-appropriate care. This role serves as a key clinical resource while promoting accountability, teamwork, and excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current Alabama RN license required
• Ability to complete hospital-based ACLS and PALS within one year of employment

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Previous Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of ICU, triage, and urgent care practices
• Case management or outpatient experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care during assigned shifts
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure quality patient outcomes
• Assess patient care needs and provide appropriate nursing interventions
