About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting business plan goals by developing and monitoring tasks to ensure their achievement. The ICT Supervisor will ensure appropriate manpower planning and budgeting for efficient operations, and that required resources are available to meet customer and corporate requirements. This role provides leadership and guidance to all members of the department, solves problems and resolves issues impacting operational performance (quality, safety, finance, associate relations), and maintains inventory accuracy greater than 98%. The supervisor will manage departmental build-out and new model activities, document and report EDI discrepancies to the direct customer, and ensure consistent and professional communication with customers and associates. Additionally, the role involves managing projects, developing section leaders and associates, monitoring safety results, assisting in the development of safety countermeasures, anticipating potential problems and applying solutions, and acting as a role model for all associates. The supervisor is expected to achieve daily production targets and continuously improve department activities, ensuring all reports are completed on time and communicating effectively with peers and the Assistant Manager. Periodic functions include communicating and enforcing policies and procedures, participating in disciplinary actions, interviewing candidates, and supporting daily production and projects.

Requirements

  • Post-high school education (2 or 4 year degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience desired.
  • 5+ years' experience in a warehouse management environment or other management areas.
  • Proven experience leading and motivating teams in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Able to interact professionally within the company with our customer and associates.
  • Able to lead project teams and present information to management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift, hours, holidays, weekends or overtime as needed.
  • Associate must be a full time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service (Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period).
  • Associate must not have received any formal written occurrences other than attendance during the past 6 months.
  • Associate must not have less than 3.5 points during the time of posting.
  • Associate cannot have received a transfer from an internal posting from Division to Division within the past 12 months.
  • Associate will have to successfully complete a 90 Day Senior Clerk evaluation before being selected as Supervisor.
