About The Position

This position is responsible for the supervision, management, and administrative oversight of ICF/IID programs. The administrator will lead a team, manage budgets, ensure compliance with regulations, and serve as a key member of the management team to ensure smooth program operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage staff including Residential Support Leaders, Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professionals (QDDP), Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and Certified Medication Aids (CMA).
  • Oversee staff selection, orientation, training, monitoring, evaluation, and termination.
  • Direct activities, schedules, and prioritize work to meet administrative and clerical needs of the program.
  • Identify administrative needs and develop solutions or recommendations.
  • Serve on the management team to ensure smooth program operations and timely completion of work.
  • Act as a resource and mentor for QDDPs, Residential Support Leaders, and other staff.
  • Conduct meetings to disseminate pertinent information and facilitate communication.
  • Coordinate activities of various units for efficient and accurate service delivery.
  • Review official directives and correspondence to implement changes in programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Review and approve new hire selections, promotions, and other employment actions.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues/grievances.
  • Serve as a designated EEO advisor, performing needs assessments, counseling, and resolving employee complaints/conflicts.
  • Interpret and provide guidance on applicable state, federal, and HOH policies, regulations, and other guidelines.
  • Respond to inquiries on behalf of the director related to services provided.
  • Direct technical assistance and provide guidance on industry-related topics.
  • Determine when proposed actions vary from established policy, procedure, or precedent.
  • Develop and prepare annual operating budgets for assigned programs, ensuring compliance with Title XIX standards.
  • Complete management reports, review and analyze budget reports, develop budget projections, and recommend budget modifications.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses and evaluate programs, staffing, and equipment utilization, as well as client budgets.
  • Initiate cost reduction programs.
  • Monitor budgets to ensure spending stays within parameters.
  • Prepare reports on office activities for federal, state, or funding agencies.
