About The Position

Pathways, Inc. is seeking compassionate, kind, and hardworking individuals to join our team as CNAs in our intermediate care facility residences for aging adults with developmental disabilities. You will work in a small, homelike environment with 10-12 beds, where staff-to-resident ratios are a maximum of 1 to 4, typically 1 to 2. We offer multiple positions and shifts, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and relief hours.

Requirements

Completion of and graduation from Certified Nursing Assistant’s Certificate program.
Maintain adequate licensure and training for Certified Nursing Assistant’s position.
Verbal and written communication skills.
A valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines to operate Agency-owned vehicles.
If not certified, successful candidates will be subject to ICF Residence Counselor PAY.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED is preferred.
At least one year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or related field of experience.
Preference will go to CNA certified applicants.

Responsibilities

Assisting with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene care, range of motion, repositioning, ambulation, and dining.
Assisting with behavioral needs.
Medication administration.
Ensuring the overall health and wellbeing of the Individual.
Meeting regularly with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager, RN, and conferring with other members of the Individual's Service Planning Team to ensure services are appropriate.
