About The Position

This position at Pathways, Inc. is for a compassionate, kind, and hardworking ICF Certified Nursing Assistant to work in intermediate care facility residences for aging adults with developmental disabilities. The role involves working in a small, homelike environment with 10-12 beds, maintaining very low ratios (max 1 to 4, typically 1 to 2). Requirements

• Completion of and graduation from Certified Nursing Assistant’s Certificate program
• Maintain adequate licensure and training for Certified Nursing Assistant’s position
• Verbal and written communication skills are necessary in order to perform the essential functions of the position
• A valid driver’s license with driving record that meets insurability guidelines to operate Agency-owned vehicles

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or GED is preferred
• Prefer at least one year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or related field of experience

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene care, range of motion, repositioning, ambulation, dining
• Assisting with behavioral needs
• Medication administration
• Ensuring overall health and wellbeing of the Individual
• Meeting regularly with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager, RN
• Conferring with other members of the Individual's Service Planning Team to ensure services are appropriate
